Limited One (1) Year Warranty
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY – Your Electronic Air Cleaner is guaranteed for one (1) full year from the date of original purchase, against electrical and mechanical defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and maintenance, which will be repaired or replaced without charge, upon inspection by PUR Distribution Ltd. The warranty does not include the Prefilter or Carbon Filter. This guarantee is in lieu of any other warranty, either expressed or implied.
PUR DISTRIBUTION LTD. will not be responsible for:
- Normal maintenance including cleaning or replacement of filters, as outlined in the Owner’s Manual.
- Damage or repairs needed as a consequence of any misuse, negligent handling, improper servicing, unauthorized alteration, improper installation or application, or voltage other than that stamped on the Air Cleaner.
- Any personal injury, property damage, or any incidental or consequential damages of any kind, resulting from defects, malfunctions, misuse, or alteration of the product.
- Damages as a result of floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, corrosive atmosphere, or other conditions beyond the control of PUR Distribution Ltd.
- Parts, including filters not supplied or designated by PUR Distribution Ltd.
If warranty service is required, send the Air Cleaner prepaid to PUR Distribution Ltd., with proof of purchase. The original carton and packaging must be used. If not, and if goods arrive damaged due to improper packaging, warranty will be void. Please enclose a note explaining the nature of your difficulty.
Limited Five (5) Year Warranty
FIVE YEAR WARRANTY – This PUR product is warranted to the original owner, to be free from electrical and mechanical defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and maintenance, within its listed capacity, for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase, excluding the lamps or lamp ballast which are warranted for one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not include the Prefilter, HEPA Filter, ConQuartz™ Photo Catalytic Oxidation Filter or Carbon/Potassium Permanganate Final Filter. A new or remanufactured part to replace the defective part will be provided without charge for the part itself, through PUR Distribution, provided the defective part is returned to PUR Distribution prepaid, together with the serial number and proof of purchase. Defective parts must be packaged well and depending on the part, may require images emailed to PUR Distribution prior to shipping, to confirm condition of parts. If goods arrive damaged due to improper packaging, warranty will be void. The replacement part assumes the unused portion of the warranty. Failing this, PUR Distribution will guarantee the unit for a period of sixty (60) months from the date of manufacture, according to the manufacturer’s records and conditions stated in this warranty.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY ADDITIONAL LABOR ALLOWANCE OR OTHER COSTS incurred for diagnosis, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, servicing, or handling either defective parts or replacement parts.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY – All implied warranties (including implied warranties of merchantability) are hereby limited in duration to the period for which the limited warranty is given. The expressed warranties made in this warranty are exclusive and may not be altered, enlarged, or changed by any distributor, dealer or other person whatsoever.
