PD-900SC: 3 Stage Filtration
Aluminum Mesh Prefilter
The PD-900SC’s first line of defence is its washable aluminum mesh prefilter, engineered to capture large particles like dust, lint, and metal debris before they reach the electrostatic cell. This multi-layer design protects downstream components, reduces maintenance frequency, and maintains consistent system airflow. Because it’s completely washable, facilities can maintain peak performance without the ongoing expense or waste of disposable prefilters—a critical advantage in high-pollutant industrial settings.
Electrostatic Collecting Cell
The heart of the PD-900SC is its high-capacity electrostatic collecting cell, which traps microscopic pollutants as small as 0.01 microns—far beyond the capabilities of standard mechanical filters. Using a powerful electrical charge, fine particles such as welding fumes, smoke, mist, bacteria, and ultrafine dust adhere to the collector plates like magnets. These cells are fully washable, ensuring long-term performance and extremely low operating costs for industrial and commercial facilities.
After Filter
After the collecting cell, air passes through a multi-layer aluminum after-filter that stabilizes back pressure and captures agglomerated particulate. This ensures consistent airflow and peak filtration efficiency, even under heavy pollutant loads. Like the prefilter, the after-filter is washable and reusable, making it ideal for environments where durability and long service life are essential.
