Aluminum Mesh Prefilter
This multi-layered aluminum mesh prefilter acts as the PD-MPRS 1000’s first line of defense, capturing large particulates such as lint, dust, and metal fragments before they enter the electrostatic cell. Its washable, reusable design ensures long-term efficiency and minimizes maintenance costs. By stopping heavy debris early, it protects the internal components while maintaining consistent, unrestricted airflow — a must-have for environments with intense particulate release and fluctuating airborne loads.
Electrostatic Collecting Cell
At the heart of the system is a high-capacity electrostatic collecting cell engineered to trap contaminants as small as 0.01 micron. Through a two-stage charging and collection process, airborne particles are magnetically adhered to alternately charged plates — effectively removing welding fumes, oil mists, smoke, and microscopic particulates. Washable and corrosion-resistant, this lifetime cell eliminates the cost and waste of consumable HEPA filters while delivering consistent performance in demanding industrial environments.
Aluminum After Filter
This washable multi-layer aluminum after filter captures agglomerated dust that forms on the collector plates, preventing re-entrainment into the airstream. It also helps maintain stable backpressure and optimal airflow for the entire unit. Designed for industrial environments where dust loads vary widely, this filter adds a secondary stage of particle control, ensuring the PD-MPRS 1000 outputs clean, consistent, and contaminant-free air back into the workspace.
